About Me

My name is Dev, and I'm currently a Computer Science student at the University of Toronto Mississauga! I'm aspiring to be a back-end developer in the future. I enjoy listening to music and watching anime, and I'm also a home workout enthusiast 😎

What I Value

As a student that's entering the workforce, I value accountability and problem solving. Although I used to spend a lot of time trying to join as many initiatives as possible, I realized slowly that it wasn't resulting in any gain for myself. Although I was involved in more initiatives and learning different things, I was missing a big part of the process, spending time struggling. This made me very risk-averse regarding my learning and career choices - leading me to a point where I didn't actually know what felt fulfilling for myself.

I'm now taking time to learn things thoroughly, and being very selective about my choices. If I can't do something to the best of my abilities, it's better I don't do it. I'm putting the accountability on myself to give my all, while developing problem solving skills to deal with challenges that arise.
